Tina Frank is a designer and visual artist working in the field of music or data visualization as well as videoperformance. She is professor at the University of Art and Design in Linz Austria where she is heading the Department Graphic Design and Photography at the Institute for Media. For nearly 20 years she has been playing live together with musicians creating a vibrant setting for experimental music. Her visualisations are characterized by a bright and colorful language of form that manifests itself happy as a sandboy in its abstraction and its dalliance at the borders of perception. Her works are found in international collections of videoart and digital synaesthesia.
